Vice President Leni Robredo claimed that her camp already traced where the ‘internet trolls’ operated their mission to criticize her daily.
During an interview with Daniel Razon on March 20, Robredo said that she believed that the tremendous amount of criticisms that she daily received on social media was only made by a few people.
She described it as expensive machinery which can be used to spread hate against her.
Robredo didn’t specifically say if she’s referring to a supercomputer or a group of people who tasked to use multiple social media accounts to appear that many netizens hate her.
“Yung tumitira talaga sa akin ay well-oiled infrastructure, hindi siya totoong tao lahat, kaunting percentage lang yung totoong tao.” Robredo said.
“Isa siyang napakamahal na set up na makinarya,” she added.
Robredo also said that they already knew where the trolls are coming, but she didn’t disclosed the location.
“At identified na namin kung sa nangagaling yung mga centers,” Robredo said.
Despite of being powerful official, Robredo admitted that they can’t match the number of ‘trolls’ that attacking them and her defenders which she described as the ‘real people’ were outnumbered by the ‘fake trolls’
“Yung dedepensa sayo tunay na tao eh, wala namang bayad para dumepensa sayo at yung dedepensa sayo yung totoong kilala ka,” she said.
However, Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson rebutted the claims of Robredo that her critics are fake people.
To prove that her argument is correct, Uson exhibited the view counts of Vice President Leni Robredo’s radio and social media program titled ‘BISErbisyong Leni’.
In the screenshot posted by Mocha, it showed that the program of the Vice President only received 40-73 views despite of having an advantage of using Facebook live.
On Facebook, if you started a live video, a notification would be sent to inform a Facebook user that the live stream already started which resulted to a better view counts.
However, despite of these advantages, Robredo only gained few views.
Meanwhile, pro-Duterte bloggers like Uson and Thinking Pinoy received hundreds of thousands of views in only one live video.
